Final Preparation...

Dhiyauddin, Zaiem, dan Hisham telah ke Khairiyah untuk shooting scene pelengkap video, akan tetapi nasib x menyebelahi. Pelakon cilik kita hilang masa tu. Jadi, Dhiyauddin dan sahabat2 shoot scene lain sambil spend quality time dgn adik2 kat sana. Anyway, Thank You So Much kerana sudi luangkan masa.

Ada dua group. Ateeka dan seorang teman ke Klang untuk shooting scene pelengkap. Sementara Nadira bersama seorang lagi kawan dan Izharuddin, ke ofis Dutamas utk shooting scene Izharuddin.

Alhamdulillah, Special Thanks to Ateeka dan Izharuddin sbb all-out untuk siapkan video. Database tentang adik2 Khairiyah pun dah lengkap.

Buat masa ni, semua kerja dah siap, Syukur.

Lights,,,,,,, Camera...... ACTION!!

From da recent posts,
we're given da chance to make an attractive presentation (video/slieshow) that shall be shown during da coming ANSARA AGM.

whether video or slideshow, we're sure amateurs.
however, this small project had took all of us to great lengths.

for that purpose, a shooting crew of 7 will be at Khairiyah from 4-6th of May.
4 of them will spend da nights there.

we'll focussing on collecting, as well as recording da scenes of our adik-adik daily routines.
and, for your notice, Insya-Allah;
by 6th of May, Khairiyah shall have a visit from Muslim Aid Asia personnel. they know about this from our blog (Thanx to its founder!).

laporan lawatan pada 28 April

Laporan Lawatan ke Rumah Anak Yatim dan Miskin Al-Khairiyah, Klang

Pada 28 April 2008, 5 orang dari ahli kami telah mengadakan lawatan sekali lagi. Ahli kami yang pergi ialah Intan Syafinaz, Mira Bazil, Muhammad Zafree, Muhammad Izharuddin dan Nadira. Kami telah bertolak dari stesen KTM Shah Alam pada jam 9 pagi.

Kami sampai pada pukul 10.30 dan terus dijemput oleh bapak, pengetua rumah tersebut untuk ke pejabatnya.

Bapak telah menceritakan tentang suasana di rumah anak yatim tersebut. Beliau juga ada menceritakan tentang sikap anak-anak yang tinggal di situ. Mereka sangat memerlukan penekanan rohani dan disiplin. Hal ini akan menjamin masa depan anak-anak tersebut.

Pada jam 12 kami memulakan tugas kami dengan mengambil gambar-gambar berserta biodata anak-anak yatim yang ada di situ. Kami telah meminta mereka menulis nama penuh, umur, hobi dan juga cita-cita mereka. Butir-butir ini akan digunakan untuk program kami dengan pihak Asara Jasin iaitu ‘Sponsor A Child Program’ .

Pada jam 2.30, tugas kami telah selesai. Anak-anak yang ada di situ telah pergi ke sekolah agama. Oleh itu, kami berlima telah berbincang sedikit sebanyak tentang apa yang akan kami lakukan. Tepat jam 3.30, kami berangkat pulang dengan harapan agar semua yang kami usahakan akan dapat membantu anak-anak yatim yang tinggal di situ.

Assalamu’alaikum,

First of all congrats to Pucuk Rebung for their excellent efforts. Young people like Helya and gang who care enough to get involved make me more optimistic about the future world that my children will inhabit.

From the discussion yesterday, we can conclude that they need the following assistance:

  1. Financial – for maintenance, equipment, etc
  2. Educational – books, tuition, etc
  3. Motivational – to improve the children’s self image and ultimately achievements in life. Could also apply to care givers and staff.
  4. Process – how to run a more efficient, safe, healthy organization.

In view of the above, some of the programmes we must run to address the needs would include:

  1. Fund Raising – to finance all 4 needs. Could use sponsor a child concept: http://www.compassion.com/default.htm
  2. Mentoring Group – to volunteer time to tutor, motivate, be friends with the children. Big Brother / Big Sister concept: http://www.bbbs.org/site/c.diJKKYPLJvH/b.1539751/k.BDB6/Home.htm
  3. Expert Group – to train / motivate care givers, to share best practices. Can be broken down further into: Operational, Methodology, Health and Safety.

To start, we need a communications plan to spread the word, generate interest, and recruit members for the three programmes above. Elements of a Communications Plan are:

1. Mission

What are the business goals of the project? Do we want to:

ü ü Build corporate identity awareness?

ü ü Demonstrate or sell products or services?

ü ü Build stronger relationships?

ü ü Provide education and information?

ü ü Conduct public relations activities?

ü ü Increase your customer service and support functions?

2. Objectives

ü ü Explain what you are trying to achieve (usually over the next year)

ü ü All objectives must be specific and measurable. Note: Objectives are not goals! Goals are broad, intangible, and cannot be validated objectively. Objectives, however, are precise, tangible, and can be objectively validated. e.g. Your goal might be to improve the general condition at the Orphanage. An objective would be to achieve an increase of 30% in the orphanages coffers, have 3 computers operational, have 52 tuition sessions, etc.

ü ü If these objectives are successfully communicated within the organization then everyone is pulling in the same direction and has the same end in mind.

3. Target Audiences

ü ü Need to clearly specify whom you're targeting—it might be the same audience segment that you've been addressing for years, or the target may have changed.

ü ü For us it would be ANSARA Jasin / TGB grads, teachers, family members. Funding target market may extend well beyond the ANSARA sphere. We also discussed the possibility of tracking down the orphanage’s alumni.

4. Communications Integration

ü ü Briefly outline the elements of your comms plan: emails, website, letters, flyers?

5. Strategies

ü ü Outline your strategy for the given mission, objective, audience target, and comms integration- this will tie in closely with the tactics below.

ü ü What resources need to be applied to achieve these objectives?

ü ü Explain any special offers you will have

ü ü What type of creative execution will you use?

6.Tactics

ü ü Which elements in the available marketing mix are most appropriate?

ü ü These are the specific media you will utilize, the public relations activities you will develop, the direct mail programs you will create, the web presence you will have, the collateral materials you will produce, the publicity events you will hold, and the channels you will explore to accomplish objectives.

ü ü Need to send fully controlled messages to your target audiences through these activities and materials that are appropriate for the company as a whole. A failure to do this will result in a campaign that is not integrated and that sends mixed messages to the customer.

7. Logistics

ü ü This is the down and dirty implementation and execution of the tactics.

ü ü How will we do it? How will these vehicles be made available or distributed?

ü ü What are the technical requirements?

ü ü Do we have the database capabilities to implement the tactic? If not, how can we acquire it?

ü ü Do we have the staffing, capabilities, and competencies for this tactic? If not, how will we address any shortcomings?

ü ü Will we require external consultants, service bureaus, or developers?

ü ü Who will handle emails that result from the campaign?

ü ü How quickly can we respond to inquiries, etc.?

8. Metrics

ü ü You cannot manage what you cannot measure!

ü ü Metrics must be meaningful, and serve as the basis for action. There is little point to capturing metrics that do not guide organizational policy/ decisions.

ü ü What data will you want to track? How will this data be turned into meaningful information?

ü ü What measurement criteria will you use to determine the success of your tactics?

ü ü Indicate reporting methods to be used, and frequency.

ü ü How will the metrics be collected and analyzed?

ü ü What do you need to do to prepare to gather this data?

9. Budget

ü ü Provide an overview of the various costs associated with implementation.

10. Timeline

ü ü Indicate timeframe for development and implementation of the plan and its elements.

ü ü Set up specific dates to serve as milestones.

Rolyza: would appreciate if the Kebajikan biro can pick this up and come up with a proper implementation plan so we can move forward. The expectation is to start marketing this ASAP, and to recruit volunteers and donors during AGM/Bowling on 14 June 2008.

2) We also have to find a date to go to the orphanage again..:

Laporan Meeting Dengan Ansara Jasin ( 22 April 2008 )

Tempat : Seketeriat Ansara Jasin Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam

Waktu : 6.00 ptg – 9.30 mlm

Alhamdulillah perbincangan antara Ansara Jasin dan Kumpulan Pucuk Rebung berjalan dengan lancer. Terdapat beberapa persetujuan yang dapat dicapai.

1) Satu adoption program akan diadakan seperti Sponsor A Child Program.

Program yang dijadikan sebagai contoh dan guideline kami ialah

Pihak Ansara Jasin telah mencadangkan agar kami membuat satu video

yang dapat menarik minat ahli ansara jasin yang lain untuk menderma dan

mengambil bahagian dalam membantu anak-anak yatim tersebut.

Video tersebut akan ditayangkan pada 14 June 2008 pada Majlis AGM/Bowling

Ansara Jasin. Di situ juga kami akan mula mengutip sumbangan.

2) Pihak Ansara Jasin juga telah mencadangkan agar kami membantu rumah tersebut

mengadakan alumni mereka sendiri. Kami akan cuba mencari balik bekas-bekas

anak-anak yatim yang pernah tinggal di situ. Mungkin ada antara mereka yang

telah berjaya dan boleh membantu anak-anak yatim yang masih tinggal di situ.

3) Kami juga telah bersetuju bahawa kami ingin membantu dari segi 3 aspek iaitu :

a) Kewangan

i- penyelenggaraan

ii-kemudahan

b) Pembelajaran

i-tutor

** Alhamdulillah semuanya setakat ini berjalan dengan lancar. Satu lagi meeting akan diadakan dengan Exco kebajikan Ansara Jasin Kak Roliza Ghazali pada 29/April/08.

laporan lawatan pd 19 april

Laporan Lawatan ke Rumah Anak Yatim Al-Khairiyah, Klang

Pada 19 April yang lalu, kami ahli Kumpulan Pucuk Rebung telah mengadakan lagi sekali lawatan ke Rumah Anak Yatim dan Miskin Al-Khairiyah, Klang. Seramai 12 orang telah menghadiri lawatan ini iaitu Zafree, Hisham, Izharuddin, Hafiz, Amirul, Zahia, Mira Bazil, Intan, Athirah. Fiza, Ateeka dan Nadira.

Kami telah berkumpul di stesen KTM Shah Alam pada jam 12 tengah hari. Dari situ kami berpecah kepada dua kumpulan dan menaiki dua buah kereta untuk ke rumah tersebut. Kami sampai di rumah anak yatim tersebut pada jam 1 tengah hari. Oleh sebab kami sampai terlalu awal jadi kami makan tengah hari dahulu di gerai berdekatan dan selepas itu kami solat zohor.

Pada jam 2 tengah hari, kami mula bermesra dengan kanak-kanak yang ada di situ. Kami juga amat terharu kerana mereka masih ingat setiap nama ahli kami dan mereka cuba untuk ingat nama ahli kami yang baru pertama kali sampai di rumah tersebut. Pelajar lelaki telah bermain ps2 manakala pelajar perempuan duduk di asrama perempuan dan berborak. Tepat jam 3 petang Dr. Asri telah sampai bersama isterinye dan seorang ahli sekretariat ANSARA Jasin, Encik Fhirdaus. Kami telah membawa Dr. Asri dan En. Fhirdaus melawat sekitar rumah tersebut. Kami juga telah diberitahu agar menyediakan satu kertas kerja yang lengkap untuk di bentangkan pada 22 April 2008, Selasa. Dr. Asri juga sempat berborak dengan YDP rumah tersebut, Hj. Tolos.

Pada jam 4.30 petang Dr. Asri mula bertolak untuk pulang. Separuh ahli kami telah pergi menunaikan solat asar manakala separuh lagi telah mengambil gambar di sekitar rumah tersebut untuk dimasukkan ke dalam kertas kerja kami yang akan datang. Kami pulang pada hari itu dengan kata sepakat bahawa kami tidak mahu hanya mengadakan janji-janji kosong sebaliknya kami mahu menunaikannya setakat yang kami mampu.
